what a week

we have been on the go since wed. morning. got up at dawn and drove to worcester by 9:30---AM. shudder, shudder picked up alex and drove home. i went to work for j. and then worked the overnight and carol manned the alex ship. playing, baths and bed. with a visit from his social worker just for good measure.

thurs. i slept for four hours until our social worker came and carol was otherwise in charge again. i worked overnight.

fri. i slept for 5 hours and carol was in charge until we all went to jenya's for my last day and so alex could meet her and visa versa. i worked overnight and once again carol was in charge.

sat. we drove out to hudson to pick up nick for an overnight. we stopped at bertucci's and had our first family in a restaurant meal. they were very well behaved. we had play and baths and bed. they got up at some point during the night and only ripped up one thing, so that was a success also.

today we went to the play space at the atrium mall because of the rain and then took nick back to hudson. so far this afternoon we played in the yard, planted seeds, started to put away all their clothes--you would think they had been rich kids from wellesley from the amount of clothes and stuff they have. now the people who used to live here dropped by with a clock that she bought for the kitchen and it didn't work in their house so they brought it back.

so i can't imagine why we haven't talked to anyone, lol. tues. we visit nick again where he is in hudson. and sat. he sleeps over again. he moves in for good on the 7th of may. the day before mother's day. we didn't even realize that when we were setting up the schedule. cosmic or what?
